COJA Civics Ready | Ottawa, Ontario
Julien Hodge is the president of the Club Opti-Jeunesse des Jeunes Adultes (COJA), a bilingual, young adult-led community service club in Ottawa, focused on building future leaders through community service. He is passionate about sports science and wants to become a physiotherapist, while also having an impact on his community through all of his work.
About the Project
The COJA's Civics Ready project will organize five events across five high schools, focusing on teaching 11th- and 12th-grade students about the civic process, with a particular emphasis on municipal politics. At the same time, this project will create valuable and engaging volunteer opportunities for youth to learn useful career and life skills.
