The Studio

The Ontario Community Changemakers program will kick off with a three-day Studio that will take place on October 16, 24 and 25, 2025. Thursday, October 16, 2025, will be a virtual orientation in the evening. The Toronto Studio will take place on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, 2025 and will be held in-person.

What is the Studio?

The Studio is a three-day program that will equip participants with the tools they need to begin implementing their community projects. Preference will be given to applicants who can participate for the full program on all three days - October 16, 24 and 25, 2025.

The OCC Orientation will be online, and the Toronto Studio will be held in-person. Travel, meals and accommodation will be provided to the successful applicants chosen for the 2025 program.

There will be ongoing online touch points, workshops and skills building opportunities during the year of the program.

Are You Eligible?

Must be 19 years or over at the time of application.

Preference will be given to those who can attend all three days of the Studio.*

Applicants must reside in the Province of Ontario or in a First Nations Territory within the provincial boundary of Ontario during the time of project implementation.

Applicants must propose a community project that activates public space, enhances civic engagement, and/or fosters social inclusion.
