About the Project
Together We Play – Hamilton transforms underused public spaces into inclusive, social hubs through board game events. These four-hour gatherings are bilingual, accessible, and welcoming to all ages and backgrounds. Facilitators guide participants through easy-to-learn games that encourage teamwork, conversation, and intergenerational connection. Light refreshments are provided, and attendees are invited to share feedback on their experience and ideas for future use of the space. The project activates community venues, fosters social inclusion, and promotes civic engagement by demonstrating the potential of shared spaces as places for connection, learning, and play.
