About the Project

The Ravine Commons is a series of seasonal gatherings designed to help Glen Abbey residents connect with one another and the natural spaces in their own backyard. Through a spring nature challenge, summer storytelling night, fall pumpkin walk, and winter lantern walk, the project creates simple, recurring reasons for neighbours to come together throughout the year. Rooted in the idea that strong communities are built through shared experiences and traditions, The Ravine Commons uses nature, storytelling, and seasonal rituals to foster belonging, strengthen neighbourhood connections, and help residents build a deeper relationship with the place they call home.
