About the Project
The project aims to bring together resident and community groups advocating for Metrolinx transit projects to include community benefits like improved public realm and pedestrian and cycling connections. The first step is convening different groups to develop a platform, and give a stronger, unified voice to local neighbourhoods that are along regional transit lines. There are so many small investments that can be made that can have a huge impact on neighbourhoods, like increased accessibility, safety, and livability. Together we can demonstrate that local community improvements should be embedded into the business cases for regional transit infrastructure.
