Rhiannon Cobb
Park Bench Poetry Project | Toronto, Ontario
Rhiannon is excited about poetry and cities, and how these two things can inform and overlap with each other. Through their own poetry practice and in their research as a graduate student at York University in Toronto, Rhiannon is exploring the creative ways we can come to have a sense of belonging to the places we live. You can find them biking around Toronto, reading in parks, and observing urban wildlife.

About the Project
Rhiannon believes that public art, especially when it represents the communities that share the spaces where it is displayed, can improve the social fabric of a city. For Rhiannon’s Ontario Community Changemakers project, they are designing a series of community-based poetry workshops that will culminate in the public display of participants' poems on temporary plaques mounted on the walls outside of local community hubs.
