About the Project
Capturing a Community Amidst Change is a project interested in capturing a community in flux, a community in change. Jane & Finch is more than just an intersection, it is a community made up of many neighbourhoods and diverse people from around the world who have settled here and made this place home. Now in this moment, Jane & Finch is undergoing massive changes, from whole swaths of housing being torn down, to a the Finch West LRT going right through the heart of the community, my project asks the question: in poor Black & racialized communities, who gets to set the agenda for what change looks like?
