About the Project
Oral storytelling can help young people learn about themselves and their world. Stories make us human and unite us. When we hear someone tell their story we know a part of them. Knowing the people around us, we are more likely to contribute time and energy back into the community. When our children and youth feel heard and seen, they see the worth in their own contributions. Through Ontario Community Changemakers, Stephanie Holt of Tales All Around will bring the oral storytelling art into local schools and St. Thomas spaces to collaborate with youth using story to shape our community.
