All Nations Drumming Circle | Burlington
WhiteEagle is of the Lenape Nation. She is an Indigenous Spiritual Healer, community leader, cultural educator, poet and advocate for Truth and Reconciliation in Burlington. She serves as a member of the Indigenous Advisory Circle to the Mayor of Burlington, helping to guide municipal initiatives that strengthen relationships between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous communities. As a Healer, it is her hope that we reside as One in an ever-changing world that is diverse and changing every day. And that we understand that we move to the beat of one Mother. About the Project
All Nations Drumming Circle is simply this: Every Nation from around the world has a drum. And drumming has the power to Unite us. The heartbeat of Mother Earth is the drum! The gathering will activate a beautiful public space while creating opportunities for cultural exchange, community dialogue, relationship building, and personal growth. Through music, culture, Indigenous teachings, and teachings from around the world, the aim would be to reduce social barriers, strengthen civic participation. To celebrate Burlington's growing diversity, and to create a sense of belonging for all residents.
